Cory, Zach, Julian, and Michael have arrived in Nairobi. Travel was uneventful, no problems at customs. The apartment is nice: 4 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, big familyroom, big kitchen, and slow WiFi. Time to try to get some sleep. Tomorrow continues the long days of preparation and getting settled.

Before departing for Africa, we noted the serial numbers of the GSM modems and the G1 Android phones. We are bringing a considerable amount of equipment with us. Hopefully we won't get stopped by customs. If so, we are tourists with lots of "photography" equipment. A bribe will be proffered, if necessary.

During our preparations for the course, each of us would practice lecturing. The other members of the team critique the lecturer. This usually led to a productive discussion on how to effectively present computer science topics.
