Seth is a student at Strathmore university pursuing a masters degree in Telecommunications Innovation and Development. He graduated from from Makerere University with a degree in Computer Science and went on to start Zypuk, a software company based in Kampala, Uganda. While studying at Makerere Seth took a keen interest in applying technology to solve real world problems. This interest lead him to participate in the Imagine Cup competition where he became the technical lead of Dev++ team, one of the top 5 teams in the Design for development Award Category. Since then has taken keen interest in social entrepreneurship and has been keen In applying Mobile technology to solve social economic issues in developing countries. He is currently acting as a coordinator of two of such initiatives, spearheaded by a team based in Uganda. As a software developer Seth has interacted with a range of technologies but has over time found a niche in GIS where he has specialized in data visualization via maps especially over the web. He spends his extra time volunteering for a worthy cause and he is currently an active member of Crisis Mappers.
