Michal is a freshman at MIT majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. She completed her high school career in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Even though she did not have a strong background in computer science when she first came to MIT, she has managed to learn a lot in a very short period of time. She has developed a website for an organization and she has done a lot of projects using the Arduino environment as part of her class. She is very interested in exploring the world of AI and is planning on minoring in Brain and Cognitive Sciences. She is also very interested in expanding her entrepreneurship and startup culture as she is planning on having a startup in the upcoming years.
