Ilya Sapranidi received his Bachelor's degree in Complex Systems Science from Saint-Petersburg State University and is currently pursuing a Master's in Technology Entrepreneurship and Innovation. His areas of interest include neurotechnology, blockchain, future studies and science-based business. He is currently a researcher for Carboncopies, a non-profit foundation that provides support to scientists in fields related to whole brain emulation, where he focuses his contribution on researching economic viability and sustainability of whole brain emulation technology. His main vision is to leverage current market incentives to advance an emerging technology of brain augmentation and mind uploading through commercially viable innovative solutions.
