Many Kenyans are unaware of the laws that govern various aspects of the society and the economy as well as where to find the right lawyer to represent them. In addition, tourists, immigrants and other temporary residents need to familiarize themselves with the nation's laws in order to conduct themselves appropriately. Law students also need to constantly refer to the law and consult with each other on law-related issues.
The lack of an efficient platform to address such needs leaves many frustrated, stranded or exploited.
digiLAW is a mobile Web-based platform through which users can
- search for the various laws that govern the country
- find qualified lawyers to represent them and
- discuss law-related issues
