The Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST) provides training and mentoring for aspiring African software entrepreneurs with the goal of creating wealth and jobs locally in Africa. Established in Accra, Ghana, in 2008, MEST is a not-for-profit NGO that is funded by the Meltwater Group through its non-profit Meltwater Foundation.
MEST has been incredibly supportive of AITI Ghana, providing us not only tours and connections to the myriad of startups incubated under its roofs but also reliable network connections and invitations to siblings' weddings. We're grateful for the connections MEST has provided; they're helping us feel at home in the startup community in Accra.
