Paul Smith is a startup scientist. He is obsessed with cracking the ‘entrepreneurship code’ by using new research methods to turn innovation from an art to a science. Paul holds a Masters degree in Entrepreneurship and is currently pursuing his PhD. He has helped hundreds of entrepreneurs and companies launch new businesses and products and has done primary research on behalf of government policy organisations, venture capital companies and enterprise development programmes. A few clients include SAB, Sasol, Microsoft, African Bank, Raymond Ackerman Entrepreneurial Academy, The Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship, Wits Business School and hundreds of startup entrepreneurs. Paul is an accomplished rower and still enjoys spending his early mornings on the water.
