Nadia was appointed as an ICT specialist within the Development Funds Department at the Industrial Development Corporation. She is currently involved with the post investment management of the SPII programme. She holds from the University of Pretoria a B.IS and B.IS Honours degree specialising in Information and Knowledge Management, as well as a Master of Philosophy in Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship.
•ICT/Development Funds Specialist for the Support Program for Industrial Innovation (SPII) consisting of three grant schemes.
•Portfolio Management (Pre- & Post Investment) of SPII clients.
•Conducting Basic Assessments, Site Visits, Due Diligences and reviewing of submission reports with specific focus on ICT sector.
•Funding of new technical innovation across all industries.
•Assisting with development of Technology Platforms.
•New fund development.
•Innovation Ambassador as part of Innovation strategy within IDC.
•Report Generation, Managing commitments & cash flow reports, Provide input into dti business plans & quarterly reports.
•Marketing of the SPII program to prospective clients, PR and Stakeholder management.
•Managing and maintaining SPII website.
•Manage and oversee annual SPII awards, Manage feedback surveys from SPII clients and nominating category winners.
