Entrepreneurship and Engineering are two areas of strong interest for Amritanshu who has experience of working in the space through diverse internships. He has undertaken work across microfinance, health, education and venture capital with a strong focus on entrepreneurship and innovation. Amritanshu has previously worked with Saija Microfinance in the heart of Bihar, Sammaan, Ennovent, Upaya Social Ventures and FICCI for policy advocacy to promote innovation and entrepreneurship. Amritanshu is currently pursuing his M.Sc in Applied Geology from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) at Kharagpur and is the Advisor of the Entrepreneurship Cell and was a Placement Coordinator at the institute. His academic interests have drawn him to diverse fields ranging from Environmental Sciences, Economics to Intellectual Property Rights and Marketing Management. He co-founded CrowdBeans, a crowd-sourced mobile app testing platform which was recognized as Top 5 student startups in India and has been featured by media houses such as The Hindu, NDTV, Financial Epxress, Indian Express, ABP etc. He has been working with The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) to promote entrepreneurship in India, handles Social Media Marketing for organizations like Sammaan and was one of nine students invited across the globe to attend the Global Social Business Summit. He was also selected as a Kairos Fellow in the year 2013.
