Abhijeet is a pre-final year student at IIT Kharagpur majoring in Applied Geology. He is very passionate about entrepreneurship and has immense experience in promoting entrepreneurship among Indian college students. He was the first Student Head of Start-up Relations at Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Kharagpur, one of India's most prominent non-profit entrepreneurship promoting student organisation. He served as the Student Coordinator of Startin, the start-up internship portal of IIT Kharagpur that provided more than 400 interns to about 80 major Indian start-ups. He has also worked with several start-ups in the past including a major position as the Community Manager of VentureHire, a Bangalore based start-up and oversaw its branding and marketing strategies. He is currently working on a location based social discovery mobile application at MIT AITI, Bangalore. He is well experienced in Android and is familiar with Ruby (including RoR), Python and Java. He is also familiar with HTML5, CSS (particularly Twitter Bootstrap) and client side Javascript. He is a big fan of 60s and 70s rock music, loves watching popular TV series and enjoys cooking in his leisure time.
