Emery has various interests that is more or less with sports, arts, gaming and technology; but, with more attachment with the field of information technology since she was in elementary due to console games and her father's occupation, which is with computer hardware. During her highschool, she took the programming computer course and had learned Visual Basic, LEGO Robotics, microcontroller programming, C and C++. Not contented with just working with the backend especially during her participation in the IBM EX.I.T.E. Game Technology bootcamp, she self-studied with multimedia development. Now taking the course of BS Computer Science in the University of the Philippines - Diliman, Emery has competency in most known programming languages especially with C, and has also had experience with the IBM Lotus Notes Domino application development during her internship in IBM Solutions Delivery, Inc.Emery is currently working on her research paper with gene clusters detection through an approximation algorithm.
