Ali is a graduate student at MIT's Engineering Systems Division (ESD) and Sloan School of Management. He has a keen interest and experience in entrepreneurial/startup activity focusing on the developing world. Prior to MIT he spent 6 years as a strategy consultant at Deloitte Consulting LLP. He consulted for fortune 100 clients within the Mobile, Entertainment, and Media industries. This summer he will serve as the lead entrepreneurship instructor at the AITI University of Moratuwa program in Sri Lanka.
