Originally from the Philippines, Francis is currently an undergraduate student at MIT Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He is deeply interested in web and mobile technologies, artificial intelligence, user experience, human-computer interaction, the internet and its impact to public policy and society. Outside of academics, he is interested in community service and international development. He is highly involved in the Southeast Asian Service Leadership Network as member of the executive committee and as project leader for Project Philippines 2012. Francis is a graduate of the Philippine Science High School, a specialized high school in the Philippines that focuses on the development of skills in science, mathematics, and technology.
