Patrick KUBWIMANA is 23 years old, born from Ngororero district, western province. he is a student in Architecture in the College of science and technology, University of Rwanda. He has won first prize 2017 in student competition for the design of University of Rwanda Entrance canopy. the same year he won first prize for the the Imbuga city walk pavilion concept development workshop organized by city of Kigali. Patrick has conducted an architectural internship in S.A.M.O.O Architects and engineers as an intern and an architectural trip in South Korea where he has passed S.A.M.O.O. Design Workshop. he has joined Kigali Fab lab as a visitor where he has a rough knowledge about laser cutting and 3D printing. He has worked as a graphic designer for one year where he has worked as a photographer, Logo designer and general graphic design. Patrick believes that creativity is an attribute of free mind, only passion and freedom to think can create new thing and change the world. He is passionate in designing eco-friendly intelligent buildings using local material and considering the culture of each context, above all he believes that technology does not belong to any culture, it can invade any culture and fit in to change life in a better way especially in this high tech world. Patrick enjoys reading, learning new things singing, drawing and socializing with friends and much passionate in parametric and generative designs.
